From the library of Harold and Mary Wilson. Inscribed by the author in the year of publication "Harold and Mary Wilson with very warm regards Clifford Dryment July 1970", Dryment died a year later. Introduction by Cecil Day Lewis, who also wrote crime novels under the pseudonym Nicholas Blake. Inside the book there is ephemera of the Wilson's, including several snapshots of their cat and dog. Provenance: Hansons Auctioneers - A Prime Minister's Life - The Collection of Harold & Mary Wilson - Friday 10 May 2019. First edition in a dust jacket. The book is tightly bound. Top edge a little greyed. Underlying green boards are in very good condition. Dust jacket is complete with only minor shelf wear; unclipped showing £1.75. Internally the book is clean, free of markings and foxing.
