Page 30 is marked with a Rod McKuen bookmark, the first entry on the page is March 11. This is Wilson's birthday, McKuen has written " Dear Sir Harold - I hope you have the best & most beautiful birthday ever - Warmest Regards Rod". Each day in the diary has a list of 6-7 notable birthdays and Wilson's is included in the list for March 11. Very nice association between a notable American poet and a former British Prime Minister. The book features 18 classic Rod McKuen poems; nearly 400 thoughts, proverbs, aphorisms from the pen of the poet, a bon mot or two for each day of the year and a fresh selection of striking new black and white photographs throughout. First edition in a dust jacket. The book is tightly bound. The dust jacket is complete with some creasing at top of spine carrying across to the front of the jacket. Internally the book is clean and free of markings.
